Celebrate the Lewis and Clark Heritage Days in St. Charles!

Expect period food and music, an expedition historic reenactment, skillet throw, and much more!

This years marks the 207th Anniversary of the Lewis and Clarke rendezvous in Historic Saint Charles!  This year marks the 32nd annual celebration (1st in 1979) if the original dynamic duo’s exploration of the Louisiana Purchase.  On Saturday, May 21st and Sunday, May 22nd, you can expect to experience a Lewis and Clark historic reenactment, music from the early 19th century (fife and drum corps), a period fire arms demonstration (musket and cannon), a skillet throw, tasty food, and much more!

Historically, on May 14th 1804, Clark departed along with a motley crew of 43 men.  They navigated up the Missouri River and  landed in Saint Charles a couple of days later on May 16th.

The Lewis and Clark Boat House and Nature Center is a 12 minute drive from The Vanderbilt Apartments.

Experience American history as it was more than 200 years ago during the Lewis and Clark Heritage Days Celebration at the Lewis and Clark Boat House and Nature Center!
